News Flash! 85 New National Food Safety Standards Take Effect on March 6

On September 25, 2023, the National Health Commission and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly issued Announcement No. 6, releasing 85 new national food safety standards. Most of these new standards will take effect on March 6, 2024. During this period, food testing laboratories are carrying out intensive method verification to ensure a smooth adaptation to the implementation of the new standards after the Spring Festival holiday.
